Question: What do i do to stop my nose bleeds!?
sometimes, i get nose bleeds when i go to sleep!.I wake up and my pillow will have blood on it!.The blood wont come out,and its starting to be a problem, what do i do to stop them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

To stop your nose from bleeding- lean forward and pinch your nose with your thumb and index finger for 10-15 mins!. After the bleeding has stopped don't pick your nose or blow your nose for several hours!.
Why do they occur!? The most common cause of a nosebleed is dry air, it dries your nasal membranes and makes the lining of your nose more likely to bleed!. To treat this use a vaporizer or humidifier or if you don't have one, apply a small amount of "Water Based" petroleum jelly with a q-tip several hours before going to bed!. The fact that you are asleep when the nose bleed occur makes it hard to pinch your nose and lean forward!.
But it might be that the air is too dry!.
Does this happen year round or just winter months!?!?
If it is always happening then you need to be careful!.
But if it is just winter months, join the club!.
You can get a humidifier and keep it around your bed, that will help with the dry air!.
