Knee Injury... Any ideas about what the doctor will do?!
Question: Knee Injury!.!.!. Any ideas about what the doctor will do!?
So, a few days ago I fell down pretty hard and landed mainly on one of my knees!. It was sore, but not unbearable so I called my doctor to ask advice!. She said to elevate it and ice it and call her if it gets worse!. It stayed the same for a few days and today it started to bruise horribly and I can't put much weight in it!. Sometimes it feels like something is popping in there when I put even the slightest amount of weight on it!. I called my doctor back and have an appointment to go in in the morning!. My question is this: What do you think they will do to/for it!? I'm a full time student and employee and I'm curious about what the treatment will be!.

well first theyll probaly get u xrays either give u some pain pills and a knee brace but if it sill hurts theyll take exrays!. then they might have to get sugury but thats the worst!. but good luck with that and i hope u get betterWww@Answer-Health@Com
You are going to need some x-rays to find out!.
Could be anything!.
Arthroscopic surgery isn't too bad!. You would be up and around in no time at all!.

Probably X-rays to start out!. I injured my knee last year, and when I went to the orthopedic surgeon, I had x-rays done and he checked to see where my knee was hurting, how badly it hurt, and if my range of motion was limited, etc!. I ended up getting an MRI done on my knee because it wouldn't stop hurting, but it just turned out to be a bad sprain!. For treatment I went to six weeks of physical therapy, which was actually pretty enjoyable!. Don't worry too much about it, and make sure you don't leave with any questions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
