They have over-the-counter "chap-stick" looking medication!. Abreva is a very good one, a minor set back is that it's pretty expensive $15- $20!. They have herpecin also, which is much cheaper!. ****Do not touch the chap-stick on the sore because you will contaminate it and it will be appling bacteria infection chapstick to the cold sore again***!. Apply it to your finger & then to the sore and wash your hands!. Goodluck

you should try putting salt on it!.!.!.!.it helps alot!.!.it may take a few hours and you have to be tough it can hurt like heck!.!.but not all the time!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
