In your experience, approximately how much did Bactroban cost?!
Question: In your experience, approximately how much did Bactroban cost!?
We were about to fill a prescription for my son last night and she said it was almost $200 for that little cream! We do have a deductible with our insurance that hasn't been met yet, but still, we've gotten that antibiotic multiple times last year and I remember it being nothing outrageous like that!. Has anyone else experienced that prescription (or any other little tube of cream) being that expensive, or could there have been some mix-up!?
We ended up getting our pediatrician on the phone who said since it was just a precautionary antibiotic and not a necessity at this point that he wouldn't spend the money on it til the culture comes back!. So, we're just doing Neosporin for now!. I was just shocked by that price!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Luckily enough when I had to get Bactroban for my son several years ago they gave me sample packets of it!. By the time I ran out I was told to use regular Neosporin!. But, I have filled a prescription before for some eczema cream for my son that was $120!.00 and that was covered by my insurance!. It would've been like $350 w/o insurance!.
