Relax at least a half an hour before bed!. Read a book or magazine and make sure you're comfortable!. Drink some non-caffeinated tea or warm milk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are sleeping, but it is not a restful, then something is going on!. Talk to your doctor!. Alot of things can attribute to a sleep problem :anxiety, stress, breathing problems, too much caffiene!. You can try limiting caffiene during the day, and none atleast 3 hours before you go to bed!. Make sure your room is dark and quiet!. Or you can try a soothing background sound such as music or nature sounds to help you relax!. If this doesn't help see your doctor about maybe trying a sleep aid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, excercise on a daily basis will help your body sleep better at night!. Also, if you cant sleep, dont toss and turn all night in your bed, get up and away from your bed!. Only return when you feel ready to fall asleep!. When you lay in bed, if you stretch a lot, this helps all of the muscles to relax and get ready to heal while your sleeping!.
Also, purposely setting your mind on a "dream" that you are "deciding" to dream helps too!. dont think about your day or your day tomorrow, this will keep your brain working and you will never fall asleep!.

Also, take notice if anything is waking you up in the middle of the night!. If there is something,!.!.!.ie: noises, bathroom breaks etc!.!.!.you'll know what to try and take care of before you lay down for the night!.

On some occassions, a sleep aid can help, but more times than not, that just covers up whatever problem it is in getting your sleep!. If you use once in a great while though, it can temporarily help to get the needed z's!. Make sure you allow a lot of sleeping time though with those - and follow the directions very carefully!
