When can I stop taking Meloxicam?!
Question: When can I stop taking Meloxicam!?
I was having a small bit of hip/butt pain (I'm 21) for a few months, so I went to the doctor!. They took an X-ray and said nothing looked wrong, so I was prescribed Meloxicam with two refills to see if it helped ( a three month supply)!. I've been on the medicine for a month now, and the pain is almost completely gone!. If the pain goes away completely, can I stop taking it!? Or is Meloxicam just a pain reliever!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Meloxicam is for inflammation (swollen tissues) and pain!. I would continue taking it but take it every other day for a week!. You should kind of dose yourself down before stopping taking it!.
After a week at every other day just take it maybe 3 times for a week!. If your pain is gone you can stop taking this medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
