Question: I was told that I'm killing myself slowly!?
I am a unemployed male living in chicago illinois, where times are hard on me not having an income!. without an income i don't have any medical or dental insurance!. and because I don't have that I am suffering tremendously, I am 42 years old, I have exactly 7 teeth in my mouth, and the 7 thats left there no good!. Each one of them are either rotten, loose, chipped, or broke off and it causes me so much pain!. I have lost a tremendous amout of weight because I can't eat solid foods like I use to because the teeth that are missing I did'nt loose them completely, they are broke off into my gums, (all of them)!. I loose a lot of sleep at night because of the pain, my tongue has a lot of sores and blisters from being irritated from the points of my teeth that are broke!. I KEEP canker sores in my mouth!. It has gotten to the point to where I am sort of sheltered because I'm embarrast of the way my mouth looks!. sometimes I am so sick from swollowing the poison from the karosion!. I am so afraid of the poison getting in my blood stream!. Someone old me that they once knew a man who died from the same exact thing!. I don't want to die can someone please give me some advise to help save my life!. I am even willing to be a guine pig for dental students to get graded, and or to use me for an experiment, (so I got to be desperate)!. i wish I can post a picture of my mouth just so someone can see that I am not exagerating Pleeeeeeze if you know someone who can help a brother in dire need , can you pass this on to them!. i need serious oral surgery to remove the remainder of these teeth out of my mouth and to somehow get the rest of these broken ones that my gums has grown over which prevents me from eating solid foods llike any kind of meats like chicken, porkchops, steaks,, fish, basically any kind of food in general, I don't know how much longer I can last with the pain and suffering!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OMG, I feel bad for you, and I understand not having insurance and unfortuantely our healthcare system is all about payment and premiums!.
If I was you and I was hurting I would go to the emergency room and get antibiotics and pain pills
I live in a small town in NC and there a dental clinic here that will extract all your teeth and guve you dentures for $700, you live in a major city is there not something like that there!? I truly sympathize with you being self consience because people are all about iage and opinion, it would almost be better for you if the 7 you had left would fall out!. Will your emergency room do extractions, some do, and I know you probably dont want to create bills but its not like they can turn you away for being uninsured!. Whats your status and have you tried for medicaid!? Another option if you dont qualify for medicaid assistance is to pay out of pocket and then submit receipts to medicaid and they will reimburse you everything except the deductible they set for you which is normally around 10%!.
I only know this because I had to save up and pay out of pocket for knee surgery last June and I of course didnt qualify for medicaid and had no insurance, but the injury was work related so I got screwed but medicaid did approve me for the month of the durgery only and reimbursed me almost everything I paid out!.
Dont sit around in pain, go to the ER get a demerol shot for pain and a round of antibitics, if you can taste the poison from the infection you need the antibioticsd before the infection takes over your blood stream!. Good Luck

See if there is a dental school in your area!. They may be able to assist you!. Also check with training hospitals in your area!. Medical and dental students do work with the public to gain experience and will offer their help free of charge or for a nominal fee!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
