How do you stop a muscle spasm?!


Question: How do you stop a muscle spasm!?
you know that tightening of your muscle when you stretch suddenly!? that happens to me a lot these days, and i don't know why!.!.!.!.and randomly, like if i stretch, i have a muscle spasm!.!.!.!.!.how do i stop them!?!? help!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As "Ghee" points out, if it's your calf, or other leg muscles that are cramping, the solution is extremely simple!. Eat bananas!. I say this with the experience of having been a VERY AVID bicycle long distance rider and "rookie" racer!. We were warned of muscle cramping from the very start, and were told that that very cheap fruit, banana, had all the potassium one needed to avoid such cramps!. Most of us ate one a day, but sometimes during our long (75+ miles) rides, we'd have maybe two or so a day, even during the ride, so as to give us some fast calories to burn, give us a feeling of not being hungry, and increasing our potassium levels to avoid cramps!. I will say, however, like they taught us about drinking water during a bike ride, if you wait till you're thirsty, or wait till your hungry, to drink the water or have a banana or other carb, you've waited too long, and you'll have serious and immediate detrimental effects to your riding, and subsequent health problems from opportunistic viruses or other "bugs" that will have you in bed for a while, feeling very miserable, so, have a banana or two, and drink plenty of water, BEFORE you feel the need!. If you wait till then, you've waited too long, and you'll regret it, for more reasons than just muscle cramps or spasms!. God Bless you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It would help to know what/which muscles are cramping -
If it is calf/leg/foot - it is an indication of over extension and low potassium - if it is back -then you may have a subluxation(vertebrae out of alignment) -- in which case you may need to see a Chiropractor to make an adjustment and realign your spine -Www@Answer-Health@Com
