Salt water is great for a wound!.

It gets into it and gets rid of the germs and icky stuff, and it will heal twice as fast,Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it is good for healing wounds!. For incisions or wounds in the mouth, gargling of salt water is reccommended most!. Salt is a bacteriostat (stops bacteria replicating) and it acts as a cleaning agent, removing dead skin cells and dirt from the wound!.

However, it will probably sting a bit at first, when your wound first reaches salt water :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Typically --yes, saltwater is good for the wound, depends on the wound, but from what you described, should be fine, as long as its not real deep!. Sometimes certain areas, live bacteria in water, may not help, but in general does have healing properties that are great!. I had mosquito bites, even pimple, went into Ocean, swam, think combination of sun too , they all dried up-!. Pretty cool!. If its just graze, you can go in, feel its deep, I would least , once you get out, dump some peroxide, neosporin afterwards, so bacteris will die!. Good luck, keep it sterile & clean!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
