I pulled something today at track! Please help!?!


Question: I pulled something today at track! Please help!!?
Today at track we had to run 2 200m sprints!. On the first race i was just about to finish, I heard a crack and it felt like something like jello jumped or fell or something! It was right near my thigh and the hip!. Where the hip curves in, that's where it hurts the most!.

Please help!

Ouch! That's unfortunate!. From your description it sounds more like you hurt your hip joint, versus pulling a muscle!. Joint injuries should always be checked out by a doctor!.
If I'm misreading or mis-inferring, and it is a muscle pull, ice it (20 minute on, 20 minutes off, with something between the ice and your skin), take an anti-inflammatory, elevate your hip as much as possible (lie down and stick a pillow under it), and rest it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
