Question: My big toenail is falling off!!?
Ok, so in mid-February, I was roller skating with some friends!. The shoes were VERY tight and by the time we were done my feet were in pain!. I though nothing of it, but then they started to turn purple!. At first it was only the sides but slowly they have become a dark purple!. The other day I was clipping one of my big toes and the blood inside started to drain out a lot, and now there is no more blood underneath the nail, but it's hollow!. Is another toenail going to grow back!? How long will it take!?

I stubbed my toe really bad just this last year, and it hurt very badly and underneath the nail it was purple and then turned black, and then a bit later my nail fell off!.
It will be okay!. Just be gentle with it!. The nail will grow back but it is going to take a few weeks!. The nail will just grow out the regular way nails grow out!.

unfortunately if the base (root) of the nail falls off, it will not regrow!. but if you keep it pressed against the nail bed with bandaging it will heal and should be fine!. just don't wear shoes on that foot for a while!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
