Answers:
Alright, there are two habits that you must change in order for your piercing to heal!. First, you must stop removing your earring when you clean your piercing!. The constant removal and reinsertion can cause excessive irritation, including scrapes, tears, etc!. Such irritation can and may have already lead to an infection!. Irritation also keeps the piercing constantly swollen!. Second, stop the use of hydrogen peroxide!. H2O2 kills bacteria, but it also kills white blood cells!. Instead, it would be best to use a sea salt soak on your piercing!. Add 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt to 8 oz of boiled water!. Soak a cotton pad in the mixture and apply to the back and front of your piercing for 10 minutes each!. Bactine is also a good product to look into!. You can use it twice a day after your sea salt soak!.

Remember to avoid messing with your piercing!. Do not remove the earring while it heals!. Make sure that the backing is not too tight against your ear!. Once your ear heals, remember to only remove your earring when changing to a different earring!. There is never a need to remove it for cleaning!.

Good luck and happy healing!Www@Answer-Health@Com
