Answers:
You've pulled the muscle behind your knee, each time you flex your ankle it pulls on that muscle causing pain, not necessarily causing additional injury!.
You need to do some gentle exercises to strengthen those muscles!. You can find those exercises at:
www!.backandbodycare!.com/home/knee_and_!.!.!.
You can take ibuprofen for the pain and inflammation and also applying heat to the area will help with the pain!.
Good Luck I hope you feel better soon!. Some times it takes a while for it to completely heal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it has hurt this long, you should definitely see a Dr!. If it "locks" on you or gives out, you could have torn your meniscus or other cartilege!. This sounds like what I had many years ago and it was a torn meniscus!. It just takes a very easy surgery and you will be good as new!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
