Question: Smashed thumb, is it okay!? Please help!!?
I smashed thumb in my car door 4 days ago!. It hurt so bad (and still does) and swelled up!. There's blood under 90% nail and it's getting more swollen around the cuticle!. Is that okay!? Has this happened to anyone else!? Should I be concerned!? Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No its not OK!. You need to go to the doctor and get the blood and fluid drained!. I've seen in really bad situations they puncture a hole in your nail and let it drain!. But i'm sure the doctor can do it more simple than that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

as long as you can move it and it is not visibly disfigured you are probably fine!. unfortunatly even if you do go to emerge there is little they can do for it except put a splint or such on it!. also prepare to loose your nail as well!.

I'd recommend going to the E!.R!. They might put a hole in your nail to relieve the pressure!.
