Question: I have cut my finger :S?

i have just cut myself and it seems to have gone through all the layers of the skin and something was popping out of it, i think maybe this was fatty tissue ? is it necessary to go to hospital and it will have to be tomorrow, i ran it under the cold tap, then kept it upright, i used an antiseptic wipe and germalene , i put a plaster on and bandaged it up.
advise ?

it depends on the size of the cut if it;s a small cut then it should heal ok keep it clean and keep your eye on it incase of infection, if it keeps bleeding or your unable to keep the skin together then it will need clips or stitches,
your local surgery should be able to deal with this i suggest getting it checked asap.

i'm a chef, cut fingers are an occupational hazard for me. if you can still move the finger then there's no tendon damage, so long as the bleeding stops you will be fine waiting until tomorrow.
