Canker sore that lasts too long?!

Question: Canker sore that lasts too long?
I got my lip pierced about two months ago, and a month ago I took the ring out. The hole closed, and for a week I had no problems, until I noticed a sore forming right where I had pierced my lip. I did some research and realized it's a canker sore. It doesn't hurt too bad, but it opens and closes all the time, oozing pus in my mouth.

The problem is, I've had it for more than two weeks and it doesn't seem to be healing. And from what I read. canker sores are supposed to go away in less than that. I'm a bit worried it might be something more serious than a simple sore, and now I seem to have another one growing right above the old one.

Is it normal for canker sores to last longer than usual? And what can I do to help it heal faster?

Although I've never pierced my face, everytime that I get any kind of canker sore or ulcer in my mouth, I gargle with a capful of hydrogen peroxide several times a day. It usually goes away in a day or 2.

My G-friend insisted that I start taking this new pill out for the canker sores I was getting. Well despite their stupid name, the sh** worked, all the way around. I'm their new biggest fan. Anyway, it's called The Canker Spanker, no joke - don't get me started on their name.

A large one can take up to four weeks to heal but you need to get it treated, sounds infected to me.

Never heard of it.
