I had a laparoscopy on feb 4th. had bad pain from gas for 3 days. now a week lat!
Question: I had a laparoscopy on feb 4th. had bad pain from gas for 3 days. now a week later i have back/chest pain?
could this pain be from the nitrous oxide/gas still in my body? it's so bad i went to the emergency room last night because i thought i was going to die. they did an ultrasound of my chest and found nothing. i'm taking pain meds today but it's still horrible. if so, how can the gas be out of my system 3 days later and then a week later come back? it's not my shoulder like it was before. it hurts on my upper back and right between my ribs on my chest between my boobs (but in my abdomen) not on my ribs. what can this be? i'm in so much pain. thanks

i had a problem with the gas for a long time. walking around is the only solution even though it is really painful.
