should I bother going to the doctor?!

Question: Should I bother going to the doctor?
so here's the story. My left wrist was very mildly sprained, minimal discomfort and I was still capable of movement without pain. I was using my wrist while it was sprained like I normally would and it got better. A few days later (yesterday) I used the same left hand to push my dog off of me and I heard a 'pop', then a pain shot up my arm. Now I can barely move my wrist without feeling pain. I have had to keep it stabalized for the whole day today. I see no discoloring or swelling as far as i can tell so should i go to the doctor and get it checked out.

As many orthopedic issues I've ever had (and I've had quite a few) only one of them involved any kind of swelling and there was never any discoloring.

There are plenty of things that could be wrong with your wrist and not result in discoloration and swelling- best call your doctor if you are that uncomfortable.

yes just to be sure.

Personal experience

There are some small bones in the wrist which you may have broke on. Best get it checked Visa x-ray etc.

I broke 2 in mine arm wrestling. Luck

Not sure why. But it looks like I got the whole idea.

Yes it's worth going for better safe than sorry

I would at least call to first and tell him about it... I kind of had something similar... but I would still check with the doc. :)

yes
