Surgery or Chiropractor?!

Question: Surgery or Chiropractor?
Have pain that radiates through out my left leg. However i dont know where is this pain originating from. I have a fracture in my left foot that healed up 3 years ago this whole time i though the pain originated from that fracture. Other doctors say it might be my back relating to the sciatic nerve. SO, the surgergy is as follows, break the metatarsal and reshape it. Or treatment on the sciatic nerve. What to do!

Answers:

If it's sciatic, you will experience terrible sharp pain originating in the buttocks. I know how much that hurts. Listen please, this surgery they want you to have is no small feat. Please, get another opinion. You should never have any surgery without a second opinion. I just had a total knee replacement and I have to tell you, the surgery caused great nerve damage. Neuropathy is the medical term for this. The pain originates from several nerves in my leg and knee like a live wire is put on my skin. Nerve damage radiates all over especially where the nerve itself will feed into. My best suggestion to you is to see a Neurosurgeon. If anyone can help you, he/she can. I wish you the best just get that new opinion, please. Feel better

Have you gone to a neurologist? They are specialists in everything/ anything having to do with the nervous system...From a personal stand-point, I would say to go with the surgery, because this seems like a problem that won't go away if you just get it treated by a Chiropractor...It isn't worth it to get it treated and then have the problem come back again and keep paying to see a Chiropractor
