Trouble swallowing, help please, DR.?!

Question: Trouble swallowing, help please, DR.?
So on Sunday night, I took a pill. On the bottle it said take with food, and I thought since I had had dinner not long before, I wouldn't have to eat anything else. I went to bed shortly after that and woke up two hours later with a burning sensation in my stomach and that icky throw up feeling. My mom said it was acid reflux probably from the pill and gave me some pepcid ac. I went back to bed. When I woke up in the morning, the burning wasn't as bad but I had this feeling in my throat like after you swallow a pill without water... as if it is stuck right at the bottom of your trachea (I had also had this feeling with the burning feeling at night). So I went to school and the pill stuck in throat feeling stayed until about 10am today. So I thought, okay this is finally over, I am never taking a pill again. haha. I had a snack when I got home and had no trouble with that. But when I went to have dinner, I found it hard to make food go down.. I could swallow, but when the food goes down it seems to get stuck at the beginning of my stomach (or what feels like that) gives me a sharp pain right under my ribs to where I can barely breath, then goes down, kind of like when you take too big of a bite.. but I chew thoroughly. Am I reading too far into this or could this be rooted to something deeper?

First thing to do would be to grab the print out that came with the medication. It should list side effects and which ones you should alert your doctor to. Also which ones that indicate that you should stop taking the medication immediately. Without knowing what the medication is though, it's hard to give much advice. There is no reason why you can't call your doctor or even your pharmacist and ask them about it though.

I don't think it's because of the pill. Taking it without food will give you that burning feeling, but I don't think it's related to the swallowing problem. There are a lot of other problems that could cause this. I'd reccomend just drinking a lot of water for now, and if the feeling doesn't go away, or gets worse, consult your doctor.
