I cut myself, and I'm worried that one of my cuts are getting infected...?!

Question: I cut myself, and I'm worried that one of my cuts are getting infected...?
I don't want your criticisms.
I have depression, and by God do I have my reasons to self harm.
I'm not an emo ****, and I'm not a poser.

I have a fairly deep cut on my arm, but I ran out of gauze so I have nothing to cover it with. I've been cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide every night, and I try to sleep with my sleeve up so it'll close up quicker. It's diagonal, and right on the inside of my elbow, so it hurts when i stretch out/bend my arm. It's kinda red, and hurts when I touch it.. It's been there for about a week.
What can I do to cover it? I have medical tape but not much else..
Thank you..

Infection signs are -

- Pussing
- Redness around the cut
- Red streaking
- The area feels hotter than the rest of your body

If you get red streaking you need a doctor as soon as you can possibly get there this is a serious sign of a bad infection.

But because it doesn't sound infected I would put more hydrogen peroxide on the cut and then use the medical tape to close up the wound and it should get better from there.

If it gets any signs of infection though go to the doctor it is very important to get infections treated before gangrene sets in and possibly causes you to loss your arm

if it has yellowing on it or pus its probably infected but it doesn't sound to me like it is.
you need to put some kind of antibiotics on it like neosporin to make sure it heals faster and doesn't get infected. if you have band-aids just but them on it for now.

I doubt it's infected, when you stretch your arm, the skin stretches as well. It'll be fine.
God bless! ((((:
