Upper chest pain... hmm ? what to do.?!

Question: Upper chest pain... hmm ? what to do.?
I am having a stinging sensation in my chest, upper right/center to be exact.
The pain eases a little when I lay in bed but doesn't go away its been maybe 3 days sense it started and it feels like someone is stabbing me in my chest. I feel it in the back too.
I am 15 years old and in pretty good shape. About three months ago I fainted and they never found out the cause.
&& the pain sometimes brings me to tears I'm extremely confused about what to do.
All my mom says is take some tums but it does nothing for me. :\ should I be concerned or just let it go away on its own ?

When you fainted they probably checked your heart and did blood work. It sounds like you may have a strained muscle. A lot of times if you pick up something the wrong way you can pull a muscle in your chest and it can be painful. Have you taken any Tylenol or Advil? Ask your mom for one of those and see if it doesn't help. You may also want to try some heat to the area. But, don't sleep with a heating pad and only use it on a medium setting for about 10 minutes at a time. In the next couple of days be careful when lifting, twisting, or turning. If the pain gets worse, you start vomiting or running a fever you need to see a doctor as soon as possible.

Ask your Mom to take you to the DR

just let it go, it would heal by itself
