Morning: exercise and do whatever you do in the mornings
Afternoon: find something that you can work with. do homework, carry things around, play sports, go outdoors, etc. do anything that can tire you.
Evening: drink chamomile tea; listen to classical music (if you're not much of a classical music lover. because if you are, then it would just be a distraction for you); place fragrance oils - lavander, chamomile, vanilla, are some scents that can put you to sleep; stay away from anything that will distract you like computers, books, consoles, etc, turn off light, make sure your bed is comfortable enough. Sometimes, lack of sleep is due to their bed or pillow. so if you think it is, it's best to buy something that you think is comfortable for you. remember that sleeping is important so you have to do anything by all means possible just to sleep. of course, no bumping of heads, things like that lol. then try taking sleeping pills again if you think that you can't sleep. (just don't get overdosed. it's bad. i mean, really bad because it will kill you. literally.); and if none of this works, go visit your physician.
You should try exercising earlier in the day, a good work out will tier your body and help you fall asleep. Set your house thermostat to a comfortable temperature before bed, this will help you to fall asleep. You could try taking a hot soothing bubble bath right before bed to get you in the mood to sleep. Also read a relaxing book instead of watching TV, TV actually makes it harder to sleep sometimes. And what you can try that helps me to fall asleep is lay down in your bed, relax, and daydream. Daydream about things you like or wish could happen, drift off into your own fantasy. NO thinking about school or stressful things. Lastly, try to block out outside noises with inside noises; such as a fan, a quiet radio, or even a relaxing noise machine; and some sleeping medicine wouldn't hurt either. But if this problem goes on too much longer I would recommend seeing a doctor. :)
maybe you're stressed or just restless. try anything lavander. putting it in your pillow case or in the form of a sleep remedy cream. try a hot bath before bed
