Severe Lower Back pain?!

Question: Severe Lower Back pain?

Twelve days ago i fell off my bike and shattered my wrist. I had surgery done on it on february 10th. Two days ago (10 days after my fall) i started getting severe lower back pain. I'm barely able to move the pain is so intense. I was perscribed percocet after my surgery but it does nothing for my back pain. My question is would it be possible that i injured my back during the fall and it took ten days before i feel the pain from it?

if you haven't been up moving around alot, the muscles in your back could have tightened up causing pain.

I would make an appointment with your doctor or go to the nearest urgent care/emergency room to get it checked out. back pain after an accident can be tricky and it sounds like you might need some muscle relaxers to help with the pain

It is possible that the back pain took so long to be noticed. Definitely check with your doctor so that they can look and see what the problem might be. Back pain is no fun at all and the sooner you can get fixed up, the better! In the meantime, try to avoid anything that might aggravate it. Avoid heavy lifting, sudden turning, bending down and jerky motions.
