What can I do about my back pain?!

Question: What can I do about my back pain?
I have constant back pain and its terrible :(
I have mild scoliosis... like, you can't tell or anything but it causes me a lot of pain. I make sure I keep fit and stuff but it doesn't seem to help and I find myself taking pain killers all the time.
Is there anything I can do about this pain without getting the surgery?

Answers:

awww babe *hugs*

u say u try and keep fit, make sure its stomach (abs supports you back normally, there is an exercise that they say pull your stomach in like u are trying to get ur belly button to touch your back, do it regularly, it might help, i am unsure seeing as its not normal back pains) and back exercise, go to your gym and ask what back exercise would be best.

also apart from seeing a normal doctor see a Chinese doctor and see what they say, they prob say acupuncture might help (works with a lot of things)

massage therapy and physical therapy (see a therapist that specialist in those two as well and see what they say, its a physiotherapist I heard say that exercise with the stomach for the back before)

do all this stuff, best to try a bunch of stuff then to do an op. (surgery = last option)

hope you find something that works.

Edit: forgot to mention seeing a chiropractor as well

Try laying on a hard surface like a wooden floor or tiled floor. Lay flat on your back for a bit.

Either way, you should talk to a doctor. Surgery is scary, but worth it in my opinion. You shouldn't have to suffer when the problem could potentially be fixed.

take care!

For Scoliosis, surgery might be your best bet. You can stay on the painkillers, try alternative medicine (Reiki, Acupuncture, etc.) or just get surgery once and fix it.
