Wart on back of foot?!

Question: Wart on back of foot?
I'm 16 and about 2 or 3 days ago, a wart on the back of my foot, like on the heel bone part (not on the sole or anything, just below the ankle, on that bone) has come up.

I'm pretty sure it's not a plantar wart cause it doesn't look like that. It looks like a regular wart, except it's like a bubble and if I squeezed it, it would pop. It's not a weird colour, it's just normal like the rest of my foot.

Anyway, it really hurts when I walk in shoes. I can't not wear shoes cause I have to go to school, and i can't change to open shoes, cause our school makes you wear closed in shoes.

How do I get rid of it? Or how do i stop it from rubbing the inside of my shoe? Should I just put a band-aid on it?

One possibility is to go to the doctor and get it removed. Some doctors will remove it surgically.

You could treat it yourself with the Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away but that usually takes several treatments about 2 weeksk apart.

If you do it yourself, you can get a product at the drugstore called moleskin that is used to protect blisters on the foot so it will also protect this sort of spot. You'll find moleskin in the foot care section or the first aid section at the drug store.
