What is the reason of back pain?when it goes from back to throuout left leg, knee!

Question: What is the reason of back pain?when it goes from back to throuout left leg, knee, neck.?
Answers:

Back-pain happens on account of inflammation of the vertebrae and is in medical terms known as 'Spondylitis'.The pain extending from the lower back down to the calf of the leg is a form of neuralgia and is medically known as 'Sciatica'.Knee pain happens because of the inflammation of the knee joint and is medically called 'Arthritis'.All these ailments are inter-connected and are caused by weakness of the bones and the nerves. You need to go to a medical practitioner who will most probably ask you to undergo a course of 'Traction' for a specific period of time and may be give you some heat treatment. If you do not want to go for allopathic treatment,Yoga can also help. However, instead of doing yoga on your own it is better to consult a genuine yoga practitioner. As a layman i can tell you that intake of a high protein diet,Vitamins B(Neurobion),C,D and Calcium will help.Giving up sugar also helps. Also please try to be on the move inspite of the pain if you can.You know, taking the bull by the horn.It helps greatly.

Hi,

I am a physical therapist. Lower back pain and pain radiating into the leg can be caused by a variety of causes. It definitely sounds like you should see a doctor.
