Can I use ace wrap to ease Fibro and/or Raynaud's?!
Question: Can I use ace wrap to ease Fibro and/or Raynaud's?
Would ace wrap help in any way, if I put it around my wrists? I hear bands around wrists can help blood flow to the hands, which would really be great, so I don't get white fingers in rehearsal, and if it helps with some of the aches, well that'd be a good bonus!
Do you think it would work?

1st be aware that many docs use FMS as a general label for pain--mke sure you really have it
i do find compression helps with my FMS at times..at other times even wearing a loose shirt hurts..
andcold helps me--not heat..heat does nothing
I don't see how as anything that might constrict blood vessels could make the Renaud's worse. You need warmth for both conditions, not constriction.
I don't envy you, I got chilblains this winter not noticing how cold my right (mouse) hand was. A salutary experience. I find not-tight warm clothing helps and having a source of warmth nearby. I use a hot drink or hot water bottle, or rinse hands in warm water. You could get pocket hand warmers.
Put natural fibres, such as cotton, wool and silk, next to your skin. Man-made fibres tend to make your skin sweat, which cools you by conducting heat away from you body.
Pity there are no flute player's thermal gloves with built in warmers!
Learning relaxation techniques and stress management would help both conditions.
If you do try the wrap be careful not to wrap the bandage too tight.
