Question: Will i have a surgery ?
Will i get surgery for my meniscus tear ?
i might have a meniscus tear in my left knee, i am waiting for an appointment with the doctor and i wanna know if I'm going to have surgery.
my knee is hurting on the inside and on the outside and i cant walk on it , its locking i cant (its im possible )straighten or bend the knee and I'm in alot of pain right now ... do you think im going to have surgery????
and how could i know where the tear is (inside or outside of the meniscus where the blood flows...)
are there some excercise to find out where the tear is located
its really swolen
i want to add thats its been 4 weeks my knee is hurting and it still didnt heal and like i said im waiting for the doctor.

well an MRI is the only for sure way to tell where the tear is. sometimes where the tear is you can feel it click. since it is locking so much you most likely will need surgery. only thing with a tear you usually only have pain on one side not both so get that MRI. the meniscus surgery is super easy you can walk within a week.
