Gum and blood pressure?!


Question: Gum and blood pressure?
Can chewing lots of gum effect blood pressure and sugar levels? Say about 6-10 sticks of gum a day.

I've never heard of chemicals within chewing gum to be responsible for elevation of blood pressure. Even if so, the amount that you're consuming is small for dosage.

I'll assume that you're having headaches from this and it feels like it's related to blood pressure. If so, it's from the chewing.
