Should I result to muscle relaxants to relieve my lower back pain?!

Question: Should I result to muscle relaxants to relieve my lower back pain?
I have been suffering with lower back aches for almost a year now. Now sure what caused it or how to get rid of it. I am thinking its stress because I am quite frequently stressed out. I am 28 f who eats right and exercises. I get regular massages to relieve the pain but that is only a temporary fix. Heating pads and OTC pills aren't doing it anymore as well. I am thinking about seeing a doctor about this and hopefully get prescribed something that could finally work. Anyone else have this problem and found a solution?

Answers:

Have you seen a chiropractor? Or you might see a massage therapist that would do injury massage or trigger point therapy. A lot of times chiro and massage work good together for a back injury or problem. Obviously something is wrong but, without knowing what kind of pain, exactly where, and how often you have it, and being able to feel what is going on it is hard to know what to advise you.

see an hio method upper cervical specific chiropractor.
