Natural painkiller for a horse?!
Question: Natural painkiller for a horse?
I have to do a composition for school concerning a boy's horse being hurt.
It's set in the 17th century and he's 12 years old in the story.
As a way of healing the horse, I stated that his mother was a doctor that taught him techniques but she died.
The story doesn't really matter, it's just that I need a natural painkiller for a horse with a bruised leg/cut leg.
Nothing that can be found in the city but things that can be found in the forest or something, and also that can be found in a boy who's training with a horse, i.e. carrots, water, etc.
