go to the doctor

You fell on your knee you most likely fractured it if you hit it hard you badly stressed it, brushing will still hurt like a fracture for awhile, If it swells up real bad and you can't walk then it's DOCTOR time! in the mean time for a day or two put ice packs on it 30 min on and 30 min off both sides, in back of the knee and the cap itself and the surrounding area, Stay off your legs, the pressure from you standing will make the blood rush to the hurt area and cause swelling! prop your leg on a pillow where its above your head. Do that at bed time too, you'll have to bend it slightly cause it will get stiff! FEEL BETTER!!

Is it stiff? swollen... you probally sprained your knee. put ice on the place it hurts and leave it their 10-20 minutes, to calm and put down the swollen. If it still hurts, then if you have muscle ointment rub it on their. Then if it still hurts it would help raising your leg above your heart. that would mean lay down and lift up your leg above your heart. if it still hurts after that, i would recomend you go to the hospital so they can really take an x-ray and see what happened
ask the doctor for a note, so he can excuse you out of gym... they might put a cast on it, and they will probaly put you in crutches...

GOOD LUCK! :)

my mom sprained my ankle yesterday and had to do all of this... and we researched what to do

you most likely either bruised the bone or sprained it,
please go to the doctor immeadiatly just to make sure you did not break or fracture your knee cap.
whatever it is, ask the doctor to write your p.e. teacher a note saying you're injured so he can excuse you from class.
