I think the workout is too much for that shoulder of yours and maybe your arm too. I think you need to stop doing your workout for now. The saying "No pain without gain" is a dangerous saying & people should never believe this ridiculous statement! Pain like this is usually a warning sign that you are injuring the affected area. In my opinion you need to change your exercise routine for now. You need to do exercises which do not involve the use of your shoulders & arms! This shoulder needs to suffer no more damage - you need to "rest" your arm and shoulder for now until the pain has gone completely. That is not to say you should not move it at all! You need to do very gentle exercises with both arms & only do say 5 to 10 repeats - make sure they really are gentle movements. If you experience any sharp pains or severe pain you must stop immediately. Support your arm on a pillow when sitting if you find it relieves the pain a bit. Try to find lots of different exercises by googling "gentle exercises for relieving painful shoulder". Before you re-start your normal workout you need to make sure this shoulder is up to coping so you will need to find plenty of different exercises to do to make sure each and every muscle is strengthened. If you have no pre-existing medical conditions you could take a mild pain relief medication which you could purchase from the local pharmacy. Maybe paracetamol or ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory drug but it often helps with muscle pains. If you take ibuprofen make sure you eat before each & EVERY dose! It is extremely dangerous to take this drug on an empty stomach - it can cause damage to the lining of the stomach causing the stomach to bleed, etc. NEVER EVER risk even ONE time of taking it without eating first. Ask the pharmacist for advice too. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or you are already taking any medications do not buy or take ANY medicines at all without first seeking advice from your Doctor. Make sure you sit up straight when sitting in a chair otherwise you will cause the pain to spread. Also try to relax. This can be difficult when you are in pain. People tend to stiffen up when they are hurting & this may cause the pain to be more intense & to spread. If you stiffen up your shoulder you may start feeling pain in your neck or back. A nice relaxing bath may help alleviate the pain but make sure you don't take a bath in a cold bathroom or with any cold drafts. Try to do things to take your mind off the pain. This can seem almost impossible for people to even think of doing this when they are hurting. I use distraction techniques to help me cope with my pain. I play little games on my laptop like Hidden Object Games. These don't require much movement of the mouse but don't take this suggestion as advice in your case. Using a computer will probably just make your pain worse. I manage by propping pillows up under my arms to support all my muscles. Make a list of things you like doing - reading, talking, watching tv, exercising - you can still exercise the rest of your body. Use this time to catch up on your other interests. Don't forget to make sure you gently exercise that shoulder & arm so that is does not stiffen up - that will hurt even more if it gets stiff. If the pain continues or gets worse seek medical advice. Massage your shoulder & under your arm with your other hand - the easiest way to do this is by sitting up in bed with pillows behind you so that you are sitting up straight. Put a pillow or two under the damaged side & massage the area GENTLY. For exercising try just gentle stretching, link your thumbs together and hold your arms out in front of you then gently stretch out your arms & lift them up & down, stretch your arms out to the sides & then gently lift them up to over your head & back down again. STOP if anything causes sudden or sharp pain. STOP if the pain gets worse in any way at all. DO LESS the next time if it causes the pain to get worse. Don't just take pain killers to cover up injuries. Nothing wrong with taking them for a short time to help you cope with the pain & to alleviate any swelling or inflammation but if it does not get any better make sure you do go to the Doctor. I hope this helps you and you will be back working out real soon! Will be thinking of you.
I am not a Doctor, I do not have any medical training whatsoever and will not accept any responsibility for any advice given and urge you to seek medical advice if symptoms worsen, or persist, or, if you feel there could be any other cause for your pain. If the pain is severe you should support your arm in a sling & seek medical attention immediately. A temporary sling can be made from a belt, a stocking, pair of tights, etc. make sure you put something soft under the arm such as rolled up pillow case, or small towel, to prevent damage to your arm where it comes into contact with the temporary sling.

Bath with Epsom Salt :)
