Random throbbing nerve pains in forearm; what is this?!

Question: Random throbbing nerve pains in forearm; what is this?
I woke up this morning with this throbbing (nerve?) pain in my left forearm/wrist, and it's been going on all day. I've had these pains in other parts of the body before, but usually it goes away after a few minutes.

The pain will sort of pulse for about 2 or 3 seconds and fade away, and come back randomly (sometimes as frequent as 8 seconds between, other times much less frequent). I've been having similar pains today in the bases of my fingers, neck, and left thigh.

It could be neuropathy or in your arms and wrists it could be carpal tunnel...
