Should my tetenus shot be hurting more?!
Question: Should my tetenus shot be hurting more?
I no this is wierd but when i had my tetenus shot about 3 days ago it hurt when she put it in but since then it is fine. Hasnt hurt for the whole time should it be because i dont know whether the nurse left it in long enough it was in and out in under a second is that normal?
Answers:
Nope, and it's not unusual. I find that the aftereffect of a shot depends a lot on the skill, or the way it's done, by the nurse.
It should only hurt for about half a second. Less than a second is totally normal. It should only hurt while the needle is in.
I get tetanus boosters monthly, because I'm participating in a medical study for studying the immune system's response to tetanus, and other pathogens.
