stomach pain and bloating?!

Question: Stomach pain and bloating?
Hi wondering if someone could give me any guidance. A few weeks ago i started getting terrible stomach pains all along the bottom left of my abdomen, docs put it down to bowel spasms but the tablets i was given didn't work. now my stomach is bloated, painful especially in the middle but moving from left to right. today it has felt like stabbing pains on my right side. im also very tired, getting pains on the left side of my chest and crying all the time. ive had a scan and nothing showed up and now i feel as though im stuckk with what to do as everything seems fine but im still in agony :( any help or guidance would be great... thanks

I was in the same situation a few months ago. I had all the pains you've described and when I went to the doctors they said it was bowel spasms but the tablets they gave me dulled the pain a little but made my back ache. Then I had a blood test for Coeliac disease (allergy to gluten- like bread, cereal) but that came back negative. Since then I've dramatically changed what I've eaten and I don't get the pains so much anymore. Though I still do get some pains so I wouldn't say that I'm all okay on the inside.

Does it get worse in the night before you're about to go to sleep and/or after eating a meal? If so it could be gallstones, though if you're quite young theres a low chance that it is that. Just keep going to the doctors and try to stay away from really fatty foods and junk food. Keep a record of what you eat because it could be food related and then the doctors will eventually pinpoint what it is.

Hope I've helped :)

a long shot but any bowel problems, maybe ibs or ibd??
