Headache/blurred vision after fall?!


Question: Headache/blurred vision after fall?
At lacrosse practice a few hours ago i was sprinting and i slipped and fell flat on my face. It was a pretty hard fall and right after it happened i got a headache on the right side of my head. Now the vision in my right eye is a little blurry too. Could this be a concussion or not? I don't have memory loss or confusion or anything, i can remember everything that happened.

It could DEFINITELY be a concussion. You don't have to have all symptoms of a concussion, and sometimes the other symptoms will show up the next day. If you become nauteous, get yourself to the hospital now or tonight (emergency). If you feel the pain going away, it can most likely wait until tomorrow and if it still hurts, I'd have it checked out.

In fact, I would go tonight to get it checked out... wait, you played just a few hours ago? I'm guessing you're in a different country than North America? If it's daytime where you are, I'd just go git-r-dun today (if it's day there), have a C.T. scan done. Always better safe than sorry!

Sounds like you have a minor concussion. If these symptoms go on, you will want to have treatment by your doctor. If you start vomiting and passing out, you better go to the doctor straightaway.
