I'm always dizzy. Any suggestions?!

Question: I'm always dizzy. Any suggestions?
I've had this problem for a long time but lately it's been getting really bad.
I get really dizzy to the point that in school I find myself running into people because it's hard to see where I'm going.
I'm a 17 year old girl 5'8'. I used to weight 128 and I recently lost weight and I'm 116 now. I eat small meals throughout the day, but I usually try to stay under 1500 calories. Most of my meals are healthy. I LOVE oatmeal and I always have an apple and nutrigrain bar at lunch. I also snack on alot of fruits and veggies. But still, do you think it's because I am not eating enough?

Eat more. 116 is very slim for a woman who is 5'8, if you look it up on the Body Mass Index calculator you're actually listed as underweight. However this is intended for adults and at 17 you'll be at the lower end of it anyway. But you should be eating at least 2000 calories a day, when you are younger your body NEEDS that energy, especially as a young woman when your body is changing shape so rapidly.

As an example, I'm also 5'8 and 147, and this is considered a healthy weight. I'm slightly heavier than most women my height, as I danced a lot when I was younger and built up a lot of muscle mass. It's possible you just burn up calories faster than most people as well as not eating enough of them. I'd recommend seeing your doctor or a nutritionist to sort out a good eating plan and they will probably suggest getting your weight up. :o)

yes. you are very underweight!! you eat healthy but you need to keep your blood sugar up or it can cause dizziness... fruit juices work well. just a little through out the day. Also you could have low blood pressure. YOU NEED TO EAT MORE.

You are WAY underweight
Eat something, eat anything! especially something high in iron and you may be becoming dehydrated
JUST EAT!
