Is this normal with this surgery?!

Ok so I got knee surgery clear back in September so it's been 6 months since I had the surgery. I had this plica tissue taken out because it was getting pinched inbetween my bones. And my knee cap was slanted so they did a lateral realse. And for a while is started to feel better and I could somewhat jog on it. So I decided to start doing some leg lifts to help streghthen it even more. Since then it has gotten worse and it's been about o month and now it's hurting when I'm laying on my bed and sometimes I'm limping again when I walk. Is this normal or should I go and see a doc again?
