Question: Labored breathing/wheezing/slight cough/runny nose?
these are my husbands symptoms he went on a trip to Morocco and claimed his symptoms arrived when he was on the "long" flight.
I can hear him breathing while just sitting or laying as if he had just finished a marathon while being extremely impaired to do so.
he is coughing but not excessively He has been home for about 3 hours and have heard him cough four times but when he does you can hear the congestion.
I got him Mucinex DM but am wondering if I should force him into the doctor...he is being very stubborn and will not go willingly

Answers:
If he is having fever, difficukty breathing, cough, and phlegm, I would suggest that he go to the ER to be checked for pneumonia or other lung conditions like asthma. He will probably need a chest X-ray and antibiotics. Te earlier you find out what's wrong, the better his chance of getting over it with the right diagnosis and treatment. Good Luck.
