Why am I still in pain but I feel the effects from the medication still?!

Question: Why am I still in pain but I feel the effects from the medication still?
Like...I'm loopy and dizzy when I stand up and I took double the dose from last time (50 mg instead of twenty five) but I'm still in pain and can feel my stiffness nd like it feels really weird. The pain is semi numb, semi there and painful is this normal with medication? It's only the third day too. It's like numb but its not? It's kinda weird. Any advice? Is this probably just a one time weird effect kinda thing? It's of tramadol so it' s an opiad and pretty strong. It doesn't make a lot of sense?

The only thing I can think is your body is still processing the drug. Or... mm... there a few things but it's probably just got to do with the time you took at the fact that you took twice as much as normal. Your body might be like OMG EXTRA and... well, that doesn't make any sense but I'm just trying to offer some insight. :b

Weakness is a side effect, unfortunately. :/ So, the lifting arms thing... well, I guess normal to an extent. Have you been writing down all your symptoms? Just an idea for if you ever take a new Rx... that way you can kind of learn more about how it affects you. The weakness could also be due to the fact that you took twice as much. :b

Mmm, hopefully you can get back to bed and wake up in a better state. :z If you're that weak when you wake up, I mean, I know you missed Thurs but... it wouldn't be a good idea to go to school if you're affected so much by this. :z

I hope you feel better later on! :b :)
