weird very bad wrist pain?!

this morning i woke up w/ pain in my left wrist. thought i slept on it funny didnt think bout it too much. iced it a couple times and did use my wrist sparingly but now it's worse. it hurts so bad i cant sleep.. not a lotta swelling at all just pretty bad pain and a LITTLE pins and needles when i hold my hand still n not move my hand in fingers. very very little tho. so whats goin on? sprain/fracture? anyone think that i should spend a fortune at doc? ir jus wait it out, not move it ice it still.. ne other ideas?
