Question: Pain on both my feet . Could it be plantar Fascitis and wrist hurts every morning.?
So it's been like 3 weeks since my feet been hurting. First I couldn't walk because one foot was really swollen and my heel hurt every time I put weight on it. So the pain eventually went away and then it moved on to my other foot same pain but this time I went to the ER and nothing happened I was referred to a foot specialist so Im going Soon but meanwhile what can I do to relieve the pain.

Also every morning I wake up with my fingers very swollen and my wrist also swollen what could it be I sleep alot facing down so I use my hands as a pillow sometimes what can I do and I'm 18 years old by the way :)

Answers:

It could be the plantar fascitis which is your Achilles tendon getting tight making the muscle in your leg shorter so it pulls on the end of the muscle with the least amount of resistance to it and that's where it's attached to your foot, on the back of your heel. That pulls your foot up into your ankle to make it feel like it's swollen. You have to free up the achilles tendon to get your relief and here's how to do that:
Achilles tendon:
While sitting and your leg on your lap, take both thumbs and place them side by side at about ankle height on the tendon on the back of your leg and apply pressure hard and hold. After 30 seconds slowly raise your toes up as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your foot there for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
