Back in HK after 6 years in the US, sick for a month. Reason?!
Question: Back in HK after 6 years in the US, sick for a month. Reason?
OK, a friend of mine studied in the US for the past 6 years. During those 6 years, she did come home (Hong Kong) during the holidays, around twice a year.
Anyway, she got back during the 1st week of January this year and fell ill around 2 weeks after that. Between then and now, she had been to the doctors 4 times and it hasn't got better. Apparently it has been diagnosed as a flu but it shouldn't last that long, right? A month has passed and she is still ill.
Any reason why this is happening? Is it something to do the the change in surrounding?
Any advice on how to handle this and help her recover?
Cheers

Very simple. Her immune system isn't used to the bacteria in HK. Eat yoghurt, get acclimatized. Not necessarily much more to do about that.
