Anybody had Hyaluronic Acid injection on the ankle for ankle sprain/tendonitis/l!

Question: Anybody had Hyaluronic Acid injection on the ankle for ankle sprain/tendonitis/ligament injury? Does it work?
I had a fall two years ago. Diagnosed as acute ankle sprain. It recurred last year, diagnosed as Achilles Tendonitis. It is recurring now, another orthopedic said my ankle ligament is harden, it doesn't move as my feet moves, so that's why it hurts so much.

I've taken many kinds of oral painkillers, i've done RICE, i've gone through physiotherapy. I'm sick of the pain already. I'd want to avoid surgery or steroids, if possible.

So i'm wondering if Hyaluronic Acid injection on the ankle really works, as an alternative treatment (found it on Google), also recommended by a doctor (not an Orthopedic though). And whether it has a side effect in the long run.

I can Google the statistics. I'm just seeking for personal advice or experience.

Thanks.
