I have a bad feeling its moderate to sevre and I'm gonna have to get surgery.
I do rowing and my season is just around the corner, and this is just a terrible turn of events.

Rowing? Never heard of it. However, after your surgery, you will most definitely be on crutches and have to go through some Physical Therapy. I had a recent accident where everything in my knee was torn, except my MCL. After my first surgery, I was walking after 8 weeks, since I have kemiloids, which is VERY thick scar tissue.

Ask your doctor or physician about it. I'm sure that you'll be able to walk again inside of 4 weeks if all you tore was the meniscus. Don't jump the gun and try running until your doctor gives you the green light.

I was walking 10 weeks after my ACL and PCL injuries. It won't be that long since it was just the miniscus.
