Broken pinky knuckle?!

I punched the wall on december 24th 2010 ( about 2 months ago ). My pinky knuckle went swollen and i started to feel pain. I went to the doctors about a week later and they said they 'think' its not broken. I said ayt fair enough I will just rest it and hope it gets better. Ive been taping it up with the finger next to it. Ive tried the lot. Its been about 2 months now, i aint feeling any pain, i have full mobility of my knuckle, i can make a fist - but i have this annoying feeling in it. Its not numb or anything. And its still a little bit swollen. Can someone please tell me whats wrong with it? And what should I do?
