Bee sting near eye and now jaw hurts?!

Question: Bee sting near eye and now jaw hurts?
Hi, so yesterday after-school, I got stung by a bee. I got stung next to my eye. I went to the school nurse and got it taken out. But she said it got me good... She said I'll be okay and I became dizzy. She said it was because I was scared. I got stung by a bee before but never on my face. Right now, my eye is swollen and when i close my eyes tightly, it hurts.. and i just found out that it hurts under my jaw too. The same pain as when I close my eyes.. Does that mean the venom flooded to the jaw?And now that i look at it, it looks like the side of my face looks swollen. Does this need medical attention? Please help me!

Talk to your parents about this, but most likely you will be fine. Non-allergic victims will almost always develop local reactions to bee stings. Redness, swelling, and pain are all common at the site of the bee sting. The pain will usually go away pretty quickly, but swelling may last for more than a day. Use an ice pack to reduce swelling at the site.

It's common to develop some itching at the bee sting site. Antihistamines or calamine lotion should help.
