Question is this a bruise..or something worse?!

Bruises do tend to turn to that nasty yellow/green color, I've noticed. But the fact that it has lasted 2 weeks is a bit concerning to me. I was watching the Deadliest Warrior, viking episode. Apparently 2 vikings were in battle; The one who was killed ended up biting the other viking on the leg before he died. The winner journeyed home, but by the time he got home, he died from infection from the other vikings mouth (the human mouth contains a MULTITUDE of bacteria). That would be the only risk I could think of. It doesn't sound like he pierced the skin, so most likely it is only a bruise that's just taking a while to heal. I would call your doctor if it really worries you though; chances are it's only a bruise though

So you don't know the difference between a bruise and your boyfriends mistreatment of you.
